Legends Bar

Legends Bar has been a cornerstone of Brighton's LGBT+ scene for decades, offering a safe and celebratory space in the heart of Kemptown. The venue combines a relaxed bar atmosphere during the day with high-energy entertainment in the evenings, featuring some of the UK's most talented drag performers and cabaret artists. The interior blends classic pub elements with theatrical touches that hint at the spectacular shows to come.

Weekend nights transform Legends into a dazzling showcase of talent, with drag performances that range from comedy to glamour, often featuring both local favorites and touring acts. The intimate setting means every seat offers a great view of the action, and audience participation is not only welcomed but encouraged. The venue's reputation extends well beyond Brighton, attracting visitors from across the country who come specifically for the entertainment.

Beyond the performances, Legends serves as a community gathering place with friendly staff who contribute to the welcoming atmosphere. The drink selection includes creative cocktails alongside traditional pub offerings, with reasonable prices that reflect the venue's commitment to accessibility. Theme nights and special events throughout the year, including holiday celebrations and charity fundraisers, demonstrate the venue's deep connection to the local community.
